Weston 2 years, Wyatt 2 months

Finally! I have been trying to get a decent picture of Weston and Wyatt together for awhile now. Weston doesn't sit and pose like he used to. He wants to play around and act like a goof ball, I know, I know, he's two. I don't even attempt to go to a portrait studio and get my hopes up for a great picture. We all know how Devon's portrait pictures went last time! There were none! You can pay upward of $100 if you go to a studio and it's waaaay too stressful. I don't want to be battling with Weston to hold still and be praying Wyatt won't dirty his diaper, spit-up, or be fed...again. It's just one of the ways I am going to try to make my life less stressful. Wyatt will be two months old on Thursday. He already seems so big to me. He's got rolls on top of rolls, which is so cute to me. Weston was never a chunky kid, even as a baby. He was always long and lean. Wyatt is going to have grow up fast with Weston as a big brother. Weston already thinks Wyatt can understand him and he tries to play with him all the time. This morning he said, " Wyatt, look... I dance!" The music was on in the car and he was rockin' out and I guess he wanted an audience! Weston was trying to share his most beloved posession with his little brother last night, his Puffies. Very sweet. Weston is talking up a storm these days. He is forming three to four word sentences. Some of the things he has said latley that impressed me... "Daddy look, a ball!" "I don't know Mommy" "Mommy, push...Shrek!"(to push play on the DVD player, before that he only used the word 'push' for things like opening the door) He picks up new words every day. Yesterday he learned "berry" and "Mac" (he named his cabbage patch baby boy) I am amazed at his progress. My sister Laura was telling me that the best way to increase their vocab is to constantly narrate everything you are doing. At Wal-mart yesterday I tried this. Not only did he listen to everything I was saying, he behaved much better than he usually does in there! I think before he was bored, so he acted out. Well enough gushing about my kids, I'm sure I'll have more to post in a day or two!
