Play Ball!

We had an exciting game tonight! Half of our team came running in the field just in the nick of time, because their sheet said 7pm when the game was acually starting at 6pm-oops! So, that got things of to an exciting start. We where short a guy for the 1st time this season, we are usually short a woman, so that just added to the drama when our extra guy Dan showed up what he thought was early, but actually was quite late- oops again! We also learned that a simple game of softball just had too many silly rules, which earned us a few outs, like passing a certain line in the outfield, and changing batting order to add someone in and lots of other things-oops a third time! But over all we played against the "Healthy Hitters" which is a very polite team and is just there to have fun like we are so that always make for a pleasant game. Oh yeah, and we tied, 8-8 which is awesome because we didn't lose. Way to go team!!!!!
